    Vienna - Reed has a long-term contract with the city of Vienna to operate the new exhibition centre which opened in 2004 and to develop the exhibition and conference business at Messe Wien.

    Reed Midem, a division of Reed, has a long-term contract with the City of Cannes to organise events in the Palais de Festival.

    Reed Exhibitions has a variety of strategic alliances with exhibition organisers and publishers in new and emerging markets, and is keen to develop further partnerships. Such alliances offer both partners significant opportunity to replicate successful show brands in new markets.

    Current alliances include:

    Reed Exhibitions has set up a joint venture with Sinopharm, which is the largest state owned pharmaceutical group in China. The joint venture, namely Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions Co. Ltd. is a leading professional organizer of medical & pharmaceutical exhibitions ranking among the largest in the health care sector worldwide.

    Reed Exhibitions has entered into a long term co-operation with the China National Machine Tool Corporation and Capital Exhibition Services on co-organising one of Asia's leading machine tool exhibitions - China International Machinery & Equipment Show (CIMES).

    Reed Exhibitions and Shenzhen SinoExpo formed a joint venture –Reed Huabo Exhibitions (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. in July 2007 to organize China's largest domestic gift event.

    A strategic alliance between Reed UK and Montgomery Exhibitions (MEL), creating a separate company, Fresh RM, focusing solely on the food and foodservice market.
