NEPCON China 2012, the largest event for Asia’s electronics manufacturing and SMT industry, will run concurrent to Green Lighting Shanghai.

Green Lighting Shanghai 2012, in the context of China’s ground-breaking, fast-growing, green lighting industry is one of the most important events in the semiconductor lighting trade. The event showcases the latest in advanced manufacturing equipment, materials and products for various applications from all over the world.

Numerous high profile lighting companies, from China and from abroad, have already booked booths at the event. They include Nichia, Seoul Semiconductor, Epistar, APT, Hangzhou Zhongwei, Everfine photo-e-info, Sensing, Jiangsu Nata, ROHM Semiconductor, Stanley, Everlight, Hangke, Yantai Darbond and Wanban.

Green Lighting Shanghai 2012 will feature an IDEAL Lighting segment, which will highlight applications from China’s pioneers in LED light source design. Projected from a designer’s perspective, by reflecting the lighting environments in hotels, clubs and villas, IDEAL Lighting will illustrate the suitability of LED lights for various living spaces. This vivid display will transform a potentially rigid lighting demonstration into an artistic showcase, thus becoming as inspirational to the designers as it will be to the owners of hotels, clubs and villas. IDEAL Lighting is a unique platform for LED ODMs to demonstrate their strength and style, and also to boost sales.

NEPCON China 2012, Asia’s largest event for the electronics manufacturing and SMT industries, will be collocated with Green Lighting Shanghai. It will comprehensively feature new technologies, products and solutions for SMT technology and equipment, soldering equipment and materials, test and measurement devices, ESD, purifying devices, bar code equipment and materials, production equipment for components, electro-mechanical assembly equipment and electronics manufacturing services. Over 1,000 SMT and electronics manufacturing devices will be displayed on-site.

Michiel Kruse, Vice President of Reed Exhibitions East China, said, “Our brand’s new positioning and strategy upgrade is influenced by region and by industry. We want to satisfy the needs of all show participants via this specialized platform. Hence our relocation to the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in 2012.
